I really enjoy quilting. I made my first bowl cozies. A bowl cozy is like a pot holder for your bowl. It keeps your hands from getting burned when you have hot food in the bowl. I suppose you could use it for something cold in your bowl as well. They are cute; I used some fabric that has vintage trailers on it. I meet the nicest people at campgrounds and thought this would be a fun gift to give out as a hostess gift or whatever.

Kevin’s hobby is leather craft. In the evenings he likes to work on new things. He has made some wallets, journal covers and a mouse pad. He is very early into his hobby, but he is enjoying it.

It is also good to be a handyman. Here he is fixing the ice maker.

One of the joys of traveling around the country and staying in campgrounds is the people that we meet. At this campground we have met a retired Air Force pilot. He and his wife like to play games and we have had several games nights together. Another lady is a beautiful painter. She had an injury and sees everything in double now. But that didn’t stop her from painting. She is an inspiration. During an ice cream social we met a daughter of a couple staying here. She is a real rocket scientist, working on the lunar lander with NASA.
