Go, See, Do, Experience!
I almost didn't see these words! Be sure to read the whole thing when looking up campground information. 🤪 I added the words in red and the arrow to help you see what I mean. I really enjoy quilting. I made my first bowl cozies. A bowl cozy is like a pot holder for your... Continue Reading →
I decided to try a new recipe - No Yeast Flatbread. I had seen the recipe on Facebook and thought it would be fun to try. I started getting the ingredients out and found I didn’t have baking powder. Bummer. Then I googled baking powder substitution and McCormick said 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1/2... Continue Reading →
Just before Christmas, I made two different things for Kevin. I made his mom’s chocolate peanut butter balls and also no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. Both delicious. Giant-Sized Checkers, Thousand Trails Orlando, Clermont, FL 12/23 My brother said we have a package coming from Amazon so we walked to the campground clubhouse here at Thousand... Continue Reading →

Can we see it? Up early and ran outside at 7:00am to see if we could see SpaceX launch Starship. We watched the launch live on Kevin’s iPhone and we looked in the sky but we think two things might have prevented us from seeing it. One, it was very cloudy and two, they launch... Continue Reading →
I don’t like creepy scary things! Keep Reading! 😃 I kept seeing this place come up when searching what to do in this area (Willis, Texas). Well, why not give it a try!?! The reviews said it is a great place. I don’t like to be frightened and I hoped this wouldn’t be the case.... Continue Reading →
CRAZY CAMPGROUND STORY: When we first arrived at McKinney Falls State Park Campground in Austin, Texas, Kevin made sure to ask the ranger what the gate code is. We knew we would be out late several nights (read about the convention we attended in last week’s blog) and didn’t want to be stuck outside the... Continue Reading →
