Checking out Arizona, part 1

Kevin and I have been wanting to go to Arizona to check it out and see if we would like to have a place there for our home base. We decided to fly there during January for a weekend. Then, why not go for two weekends and work during the week. Then it changed to let’s take off work and go there for 10 days. HAHA This is what we did. I didn’t write about this trip in my travel journey because I was thinking the travel journal would be for trips in HOWE (our Home on Wheels travel trailer). Now I know I should have but I have tons of pictures that are equal to a journal. 🙂 Don’t worry, I want overload you with all of them. I am going to share with you several of the places we visits.

Steamboat Dolly, Apache Junction, AZ January 2021

Steamboat Dolly was a very enjoyable excursion. Our tickets included a delicious catered dinner of steak, chicken, veggies, rolls, and desserts. The boat goes up a very wide river which is part of Canyon Lake.

The boat ride lasted through the evening to dark.

More of our Arizona trip in the next blog.
