I was on our campground’s Facebook page, not official, but people in the group. I saw a post for some anti-gravity chairs like Kevin has. His chair is fading quickly. The guy was selling them for $10.00 each. I showed Kevin, he responded to the guy through my Facebook and off we drove to the other side of the campground. The chairs are exactly what Kevin has been wanting – with fabric that is weaved in a way that water doesn’t pool from rain and dries quickly. We both think they are comfortable; they are used but in excellent condition. We discovered it has a fold back sun shader! Excellent. See? Little things like this excite us. LOL

Parking Garage Close to Disney Springs, Orlando, FL 12/23
At noonish, we drove to Disney Springs. We had heard about this place from Youtube channels we watch. It is ticket-free with lots of shops, restaurants, and decorations. The traffic wasn’t bad and the garage had a lot of open spots. We went to the top, 5th floor, and backed in close to the elevators. The day was sunny and 69. Kevin’s former co-worker had just been here and recommended a place for us to eat. We were hungry so the first thing we did was to look up the map for T-Rex Cafe. Of course everything is laid out twisty-curvy and we had to keep looking at the posted maps for directions. It was kind of funny. Went too far, curve around, over there, found it. No waiting. The place is made to look like dinosaurs and was cute. I had 3 kinds of shrimp, it was good. Kevin had rotisserie chicken and St Louis BBQ ribs. Rated: Try Another Restaurant Next Time For Variety.

Us On A Boat Ride, Disney Springs, Orlando, FL 12/23
Outside, on a lake, we saw a boat that looks like an old car. The driver had a captain’s hat on. They got lots of pictures taken of them. HA Then we walked over to Marketplace Dock. There were several lines for different boats going different ways. We had no idea where but we picked the shortest line and got right on. HAHA The boats, we learned, go to different Disney resorts. The bus system and Skyliner go to the resorts as well.

A Short Red Bean Bag Toss, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Orlando, FL 12/23
We got off at several resorts and walked through the main buildings to see holiday decorations. At one resort, while waiting for a boat to come, we saw Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

View From Inside Disney’s Skyliner, Orlando, FL 12/23
We wanted to go on Skyliner so we decided to get on a bus, since boats just go to Disney Springs. We got off at Epcot. We asked a guard where Skyliner is and he said it is in the park and since we didn’t have tickets we would have to go on a bus to Hollywood Resort. HA Hey, we were seeing a lot of neat areas. 🙂 We did and then we rode Skyliner. It is enclosed ski lift ride. We were surprised to find it just goes to 4 resorts, not any parks. We rode all of them and then before getting back on, Kevin asked and we found out we needed to go to a resort to get a bus. So we walked quite a ways but a fun walk. Got a bus and went back to Disney Springs.

By this time it was dark and fun to see some decorations. We stopped in at the Coca-Cola store. We went upstairs and got a creamsicle orange float. They even added a real creamsicle to it. HA We got to keep the souvenir plastic Coke cups. A fun day.

The next day I spent the day trying to find a campground in Rhode Island. This is the smallest state and they don’t have a lot. A few KOA-type but are extremely expensive and sold out. Anyone reading this have a recommendation?
Love that you get excited about the little things.
That makes a contented life

Looks like you went to Disney without really going to Disney.
In Rhode Island we stayed at Burlingame State Park. There were several toy haulers and 40’+ RVs there. We really enjoyed our stay. There’s another state park near there by it’s on the beach a didn’t allow dogs 🐕.

That sounds like a really fun day. I have been to Disney World – twice, but Dan has never been. We’re not sure we want to spend the big bucks to wait in lines. Plus, he gets motion sickness on rides. Disney Springs sounds like a nice way for him to experience a bit o Disney – on the cheap! I have never been to Rhode Island, but I hope you find a nice place to camp.

I get motion sickness on roller coasters. So Disney Springs is a fun place to see. The boat rides were fun. Maybe you can go there sometime on your break. 😃

There is sure a lot to do around there. I wonder how long it would take for a person to do all the Disney World parks. Haha
