Have you been to Sedona, Arizona? We have heard friends and family talk about this place but we hadn’t been there before this trip in January. It is a very beautiful place.

We drove through the town and finally found the visitor’s center. The gentleman gave us a good map, highlighted a plan for us, and gave a suggestion for lunch when we asked. We drove west to Fay Canyon and took the hike. The path was easy to follow and ended up in a box canyon. It was a beautiful hike with greenery, trees, red rocks and steep cliffs above us.

El Rincon Restaurant, ” Arizona Style Mexican Cuisine” in the old Tiaquepaque Village was what the gentleman at the visitor’s center recommended. He was right on, it was delicious. We finished up with fried ice cream. Doesn’t get much better than that! 🙂

This beautiful chapel has a great story of why and how it became this place. Check it out: Chapel of the Holy Cross

Sedona definitely left a great impression on us and we can’t wait to go back.
I have heard of Sedona, it’s nice to see pictures so now I know what to think of the next time I hear of it!
